Flight Ticket Refund & Rebooking Policy

Flight Ticket Refund & Rebooking Policy

Overview: Refunds and rebookings are governed by the airline’s fare rules and ticketing conditions, plus any taxes/fees charged by the airline and our service handling fee. Some fares are strictly non-refundable/non-changeable.

1) Definitions

  • Voluntary: your choice to cancel/change.
  • Involuntary: airline schedule change, flight disruption, or cancellation.
  • Rebooking: changing flight date/time/flight while keeping the same ticket where rules permit.
  • Refund: returning money to the original payment method as allowed by the fare rules.

2) Eligibility & Fare Rules

  • Eligibility, penalties, and no-show rules are defined by the fare brand purchased.
  • Promotional/student/migrant fares may have specific limits or special entitlements (we will confirm per PNR).
  • Partially used tickets can have reduced/refund values or tax-only refunds depending on segments flown.

3) Voluntary Rebooking (Change of Plans)

  • Most economy fares allow date/time changes with an airline fee + fare/tax difference (if any).
  • Route changes (origin/destination) may require a reissue or a new ticket.
  • Changes must be processed before original departure unless the fare states otherwise.
No-show: If you miss a flight without rebooking/cancelling in time, many fares become non-changeable and non-refundable.

4) Voluntary Refunds (Cancellation)

  • If permitted, refunds are sent to the original payment method only.
  • Processing times depend on the airline/acquirer and can vary by bank and currency.
  • Airline penalties, our handling fee, and any non-refundable surcharges are deducted per rules.

5) Involuntary Cases (Airline Initiated)

Schedule change / flight cancel
  • Airlines may allow free rebooking, re-routing, or refund according to their policy window.
  • Options differ by carrier and region; we will present the best allowed solution after the PNR update.
Operational disruptions
  • Weather/ATC/strike policies vary; airlines determine compensation or care per jurisdiction.
  • Keep receipts if the airline offers reimbursements under their policy.

6) What We Need to Start

  • PNR (booking reference) and passenger names exactly as on passport.
  • Your preferred new dates/routes or whether you seek refund.
  • Any supporting documents (medical letters, visa decisions, etc.) when applicable.

7) Fees & Charges

  • Airline: change/cancel penalties, fare/tax difference, no-show fees if applicable.
  • Agency: service handling fee per ticket/request for change, refund, or involuntary assistance.
  • Payment gateway surcharges (if any) are usually non-refundable unless the gateway reverses them.

8) Timelines

  • Rebooking: usually same-day once you approve costs and availability is confirmed.
  • Refunds: airline/gateway timelines commonly range from a few days to several weeks; foreign cards/banks may take longer.
