Air Ticket Cancellations, Changes & Replacements

Air Ticket Cancellations, Changes & Replacements

Quick rules: All post-ticket actions follow your **airline fare rules** plus any **airline fees/taxes** and our **service handling fee**. Some tickets are strictly non-refundable/non-changeable. Availability and final costs can change until the action is completed.

1) Before Ticketing (Quote/Hold stage)

  • Itineraries can usually be edited or re-quoted free of airline penalties while the booking is **not ticketed**.
  • When a **time limit** expires, fares auto-reprice or the hold cancels. Pay & confirm before expiry to keep the price.

2) After Ticketing — Date/Route Changes

  • Most economy fares allow **date changes** with an airline change fee **+** fare/tax difference (if any).
  • **Route changes** (e.g., origin/destination change) may require a **reissue** or a **new ticket** depending on the fare.
  • Some promotional/student/migrant fares have special rules. We’ll advise the lowest-cost path once we check the PNR.
  • All changes must be completed **before original departure** unless your fare states otherwise.
No-show warning: If you miss a flight without notifying the airline in time, many fares become **non-refundable/non-changeable**. Always tell us or the airline before departure if you need to change.

3) Cancellations & Refunds

  • Refundability depends on the fare brand. Some tickets are **non-refundable**; others allow refunds with a fee.
  • Refunds (if permitted) are processed back to the **original payment method**. Bank/card processing times vary by bank.
  • Partially used tickets may qualify for **tax-only** or **residual value** refunds, subject to fare rules.
  • Our handling fee applies per ticket/request in addition to any airline charges.

4) Name Corrections

  • Minor spelling corrections are sometimes allowed with documentation (passport). Airlines define what is “minor”.
  • Major name changes often require **cancellation + rebook** as a new ticket per airline rules.

5) Schedule Changes / Involuntary Changes

  • If an airline changes/cancels a flight, you may be entitled to a **free rebooking**, **re-routing**, or **refund** per airline policy.
  • Options vary by carrier and jurisdiction. We’ll present the best allowable solutions once the airline updates the PNR.

6) Replacements (New Ticket Path)

When the original fare cannot be changed economically, we’ll propose a **replacement**: issue a **new ticket** and handle any residuals per rules.

When we suggest a replacement
  • Original fare is non-changeable or penalties exceed value.
  • Route change not allowed on current fare.
  • Long revalidation delays risk price/seat loss.
What happens
  • We quote a new itinerary and issue a fresh ticket after your approval.
  • Any residual/unused value from the old ticket is handled per airline rules (if any).
  • Our service fee applies for the replacement workflow.

7) What We Need To Process Your Request

  • Booking reference (PNR) and passenger names **exactly as on passport**.
  • Your preferred new dates/routes and flexibility (± days / alternative airports).
  • Copy of passport bio page (for name checks) and any supporting documents (e.g., medical letters if applicable).

8) Service Handling Fees (Agency)

  • Applied **per ticket** for post-issue work: change, refund, involuntary assistance, or replacement ticketing.
  • Fees are **in addition to** airline penalties/fees and any fare/tax differences.
